Bass
|
| Before he picked up the bass, Chuck spun the tunes over the airwaves, working as a part-time
DJ for WRUW-FM in Cleveland from 1981-87. He didn’t start playing bass until he was in his
20’s, when he was inspired by hearing Bill Sheehan’s work with Talas. He later played bass
and rhythm guitar with the local classic rock band Bravo Sierra through the 90’s.
|
| For eleven years, Chuck also "slapped the doghouse" for local rockabilly favorites Lube, Oil
& Filter, one of 13 bands chosen from 300+ entries to appear on the WEBN Budweiser True Music CD.
He has opened for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue, Hepcats, and BR5-49, and has played
most of the area’s major music festivals.
|
| Chuck plays Lakland, MTD, and Rickenbacker basses through Epifani amplification.
